Jack Lee Atwell, 74, died Friday Jan. 16, 2015 in Indianapolis. He was a resident of Indianapolis.
He was born Sept. 24, 1940 in Anderson, Indiana to Arthur H. and Anna Mae (Atwell) Atwell.
He married Faith Thompson on Jan 1, 1961 in Avon, Indiana; they were married for 54 years.
Jack was self employed in sales. He was semi-retired. He enjoyed singing, studying hymn history and story telling. He was a member of the Southeast Baptist Tabernacle Church and was very active in his church.
Survivors include, his wife, Faith (Thompson) Atwell of Indianapolis, three children, Stephanie (John) Johnson of Carmel, Barry (Sherri) Atwell and Kellie (Kevin) Ruley both of Indianapolis, a brother, James (Cindy) Atwell of Anderson and eleven grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter, Melanie Atwell, a brother and a sister.
