Jack A. Keller, 94, of Florence, Oregon, died December 23, 2015 of an injury caused by a fall. He was born May 7, 1921 to Lois and John Keller in Flint, Michigan. He served in the United States Air Force between 1942 and 1954, retiring from the Air Force Reserve as a Lieutenant Colonel in 1965. Jack was graduated from Eastern Michigan University in 1953. He was employed by Ford Motor Company in Dearborn, Michigan from 1954 until 1981, retiring as manager of Security, Fire and Safety.
Jack and Martha McBroom were married in 1962. Together they raised two sons, Jon Charles and Joseph Arthur, and a daughter Barbara Elizabeth (Betsy). The family lived in Ypsilanti and then Dearborn, Michigan until 1981. At that time they moved to Mesa, Arizona. Jack and Martha came to live in Florence in 2001, having spent several summers there as part-time residents.
Jack was always an active participant in community life.
