Jack “Frosty” Grizzle, age 66, of Sugar Hill, GA passed away on September 30, 2020.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lanier and Frances Grizzle; grandparents, Wright and Ruby Blan and Fred and Eula Grizzle; uncles, Lamar Grizzle, James “Bull” Blan; aunts, Mildred Blan, Sheila Blan.
Mr. Grizzle is survived by his sister, Cindy Grizzle (Vince) Daniel; niece, Mary Beth (Dorin) Moon; special great niece, Rowan Autumn Moon; uncles, Robert Blan and Johnny Blan; aunt, Wanda Blan; very loving cousins, Robin Blan, Vinci Blan Edwards, Wright Blan, Robby Blan, Jenny Blan Poole, Jodi Blan Morgan; and several other family members.
Mr. Grizzle was born on October 3, 1953.
He grew up in Sugar Hill, GA where he was a lifelong resident. Mr. Grizzle was a 1971 graduate of North Gwinnett High School, Suwanee, GA.
He was a veteran of the Marine Corp and graduated from Marine Corp in Paris Island, SC on April 15, 1974. He served at Camp Lejune, NC, Quantico, VA, and San Juan Puerto Rico, serving at different marine bases along the way. He was awarded a Sharp Shooter medal and a Meritorious Mast for outstanding service during April 1974 to March 1975. Mr.Grizzle was a Lance Corporal in the military, and he was discharged as a Sergeant. He went on later to serve in the Marine Corp Reserves. Mr. Grizzle was a millrite in his welding career. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Buford, GA and a member of Buford American Legion Post 127 for forty-two years
