Torrington: Jack F. Locascio, 82, of 376 Goshen Road, formerly of Nanni Dr., Winsted, died Sunday, April 13, 2008, at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital in Torrington following a lengthy illness. He was the husband of Ethel (Poniatoski) Locascio. Born in Winsted, June 4, 1925, he was a son of the late, Giacomo and Josephine (DiMartino) Locascio. Prior to his retirement he had worked as a mechanic for Good Year. He was an Army veteran of WW II, attended art school in NY and later worked for Walt Disney Studio’s in CA. In addition to his wife of 55 years, he is survived by his sons, Michael Locascio and his wife Kelli and Dr. Jack V. Locascio and his wife Anne; a special niece, Bonnie Soulsby of Marlborough, CT; a sister, Mary Groop of Southington and five grandchildren, Matthew, Gillian, Tony, David and Daniel and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by three brothers, Mario, Charles and Joseph Locascio and a sister, Lillian Magistrali.
