Jack E. Walcutt, of Huntertown, passed away on August 12, 2020, at Parkview Regional Medical Center Hospital.
Born in Huntertown on March 14, 1936, to the late James and Josephine (Byerley) Fosnaugh. He spent his formative years in Huntertown, graduating from Huntertown High School in 1954. After high school Jack was drafted in the US Army.
Jack married Wanda Konger in 1957.
He was a self-employed electrician for many years. He also worked for the county as an electrician, retiring in 2009. Jack drove bus for Northwest Allen County Schools for thirty years.
He was an avid Cubs and Notre Dame fan. He loved to play guitar, golf and race sprint cars. Jack also enjoyed spending time with his friends in Florida. He was a member of the Fort Wayne Moose Lodge and the Fort Wayne American Legion Post #499.
Jack is survived by his wife of 63 years, Wanda Walcutt; three daughters, Kim (Tim) Smead, Rhonda (David) Bremer and Jodie (Carlos) Cruz; two sons, Kent (Cindy) Walcutt and Bart (Darlene) Walcutt; twenty-six grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; two brothers, Jim (Carole) Walcutt and Jerry (Helene) Walcutt; two sisters, Judy (Raymond) Oliver and Melanie Pardue.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Kathy and a sister, Susie Alford.
