Jack A. Colvin, 76, Anderson, passed away May 18, 2010 at Community Hospital, Anderson after an extended illness. Jack was born August 5, 1933 in Anderson, Indiana, and resided in Anderson all of his life. He was a 1951 graduate of Anderson and attended Ball State University.

Jack served his country in the US Army. Jack retired as an Executive Design Engineer with four patents from Delco Remy Division of General Motors. He previously owned and operated Keys, Inc. Racing Team. Jack was a member of Anderson First United Methodist Church, life member of the National Rifle Association and National Muzzle Loading Rifle Association.

He is survived by his special friend and former wife, Sandra Zaloudek of Sarasota, Florida; step-daughters, Kimberly Young Shepherd of Sarasota, Florida and Donna Jo & husband Tom Askren of Lafayette; sister, Joellen & husband Wendell Hilligoss of Anderson; grandchild, Zachariah A. Phipps; several nieces and nephews and special thanks to Don Shepherd, who was Jack’s business partner in racing. He was preceded in death by his parents, Laughren Walter & Inez Eskew Colvin.
