JACEQUELINE G. BRANAM, 84, died Sunday morning at Haven Hospice Roberts Care Center in Palatka, Florida on February 14, 2021, after an extended illness.
Mrs. Branam was born in Brooker, Florida, and came to live in the Crescent City area in the 1990s coming from Jacksonville. Many will remember her from her long employment at Georgia Pacific where she worked in nearly every department and eventually retired as a lab technician after 33 years. She was a graduate of Bradford County High School and held membership with the Order of Eastern Star. She proudly served as Worthy Matron from 1981 to 1982 with the Woodstock Chapter of the Order of Eastern Star in Jacksonville. After her retirement from Georgia Pacific, she became a member of the Welaka Woman’s Club and also a member of Moose Lodge #1825 in Crescent City. In her spare time, she also enjoyed Bingo, bowling, fishing, sewing, crafting, loved to quilt and tell or hear a good joke.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robbie B. Branam; a brother, Kenneth LeRoy Green, and a sister Mary Joe Green Taylor.
She is survived by her daughter, Micah L. (Jim) Reed of Jacksonville; Siblings, James Terrel (Linda) Green of Macon, Georgia, Barbara Jean Green Krug of Benbrook Texas, Janice Marie Green Tietge of Chiefland, Florida, Brenda Joy Green(Richard) Hannah of Fort Valley, Georgia, Timothy Allen Green of Wildwood, Florida and Aileen Green (J. R.) Bell of St. Cloud, Florida; a Granddaughter, Marja L. Salmon, and three Great Grandchildren, Riven Jacquelynn Salmon, Luna Belle Salmon, and Everly Rae Salmon.
