Rev. Julian Waldo Smith, age 88, died Friday afternoon at Kitty Askins Hospice Center. He was born in Wayne County to the late Thad and Laura Smith. A well-known minister in the Wayne County Area, he was a graduate of John Wesley Bible College and a member of Hood Swamp Friends Church.
