J. Louise Warren Aug. 28, 1933 – June 20, 2020 ANDERSON-Johnnie “Louise” (Bruner) Warren, 86, peacefully left this life surrounded by her loving family. She was born to John and Verna Bruner in Sparta, Tenn.; the family moved to Anderson in 1935.

Louise’s friendly personality, sense of humor and generosity were memorable to everyone. Once a friend, always a friend. She was working at the Paramount Theatre when she met Bob Warren and they married in 1953. Louise was a devoted mom and beautiful example to her son Mike and daughters Susan, Kari and April, always cheering them on with support and unconditional love. Louise held secretarial positions at Delco Remy, Mayflower Moving Co. and Anderson Community Schools, the latter lasting 30 years. Louise enjoyed Pacers basketball, researching genealogy, talking and laughing with friends, clipping witty jokes and quotes, flower gardening, bridge, art and travel. In later years, she worked on Anderson High School Class of 1951 activities.

Louise provided inspiration and shared her faith with others in times of need. An active member at New Horizons United Methodist Church, she was involved in Women’s Circle and helped with children’s activities, such as face painting. Louise fought through a number of health issues over the past eight years, and amazed all involved with her resilience. She was preceded in death by her parents, son Michael Neal, niece Lora Bruner and by many aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was survived by her brother, David (Francine) Bruner; three daughters Susan (Jeff) Akers, Kari Ellis and April (Eric) Titler; grandchildren Emily (Matthew) Gray, Leah (Christopher) Lakich, Crystal Everhart, Erik Ellis, Cori (Justin) Bowlin, Rylie, Madelyn and Kai Titler; great-grandchildren Sullivan and Liam Gray, Kaylee (Logan) Caulk, Alyssa Everhart, Gunner, Kaiden and Zadia Bowlin; and great-great-grandchildren Aria, Eliza and Preston Caulk. She will be missed by many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins as well.
