Jennie Louise Nelson passed away February 12, 2022 in Ogden, Utah. She was born November 6, 1935 in Milford, Utah the daughter of Johnathon Allen Carter and Wanda Ellen Jenson Carter. She was a graduate of Weber High School.
Louise married Russell Nelson in 1957 and they were later sealed in the Logan Temple. As a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Louise served at a visiting teaching, in the Junior Sunday School Presidency and in the Relief Society Presidency.
Louise worked for Mountain Bell, Utah Tailoring, J.C. Penny’s, Mr. Mac, IFA and Ogden City. She enjoyed quilting and sewing.
Louise is survived by her daughter Wendy (Wes) Wilson; sons Russell “Kirt” Nelson and Lanny Gordan (Julie) Nelson; brother Jerry (JoDell) Jenson; 8 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband; parents and 2 sisters.
