Our beloved Lupe Mares passed away on December 5th, 2019. He was born and raised in Leon, Guanajuato, MEX, on September 22nd 1945.
He is survived by his loving wife, Rosa M. Quintana-Mares.
While in Mexico, he worked as an automobile mechanic and chauffeur. After immigrating to the U.S., he worked for his cousin’s firm installing swimming pools. He worked in the maintenance department at the Clark Pleasant School Corporation for 27 years until his retirement. He especially enjoyed the years at Clark Pleasant, where he took joy in the energy and love of schoolchildren which he saw grow-up over the years.
He was a devoted and active member to his parish Our Lady of the Greenwood. He enjoyed fishing, cooking, watching wrestling, and various sports.
He is proceeded in death by his mother Teodora, his father Federico, his sisters, Luisa, Margarita, and Maria Conception, his brothers, J. Jose Luz, Juan Jose.
He leaves behind his brother Leobardo (Martha), as well as numerous nieces and nephews who loved him and cherish his memory.
