J.C. Hall, age 92 of Northport, passed away May 20, 2022 at home with his family.

He is preceded in death by his wife Loona Mae Beams, parents; Olen and Gertrude Hall, sisters; Ozell, Olene, Lorene, and brothers; Wesley and Worth Hall. 

He is survived by his wife; Coleen Lunceford Hall, daughters; Felecia Gilliam (Rodney), Sharon Denise Hall, Wanda Pate (Baxter), daughter-in-love; Tina Marchman, son; Phillip Hall (Ann), brother-in-love; Larry Sanders, 8 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, and 4 great great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

He was born in Gordo, Al. on November 28,1929 to Olen B. Hall and Gertrude Montgomery Hall. JC served in the Army in the Korean War. After returning from Korea he met the love of his life Loona Mae Beams and they were married for 52 years until she went home to be with the Lord. He later married a long time family friend Coleen Lunceford Hall and they spent 14 years as sweethearts until his death.

JC retired after 43 years at B.F. Goodrich. He loved being a skilled carpenter and has built many homes, additions to homes and small projects that were often donated, such as handicap ramps.

He loved helping others and made several mission trips to help build churches. During his life he served as Deacon, Teacher and many positions on committees. He loved God and the Church was very important to him. If the church door was open,  he believed we all should be there. His love of music, especially bluegrass was a part of his everyday life.
