On February 10, 2022, beloved father, grandpa, brother, uncle and friend, Ivan Stublic of Waterbury, CT (originally from Stari Brod, Sisak, Croatia) passed away after a short illness at the age of 68.
He will be lovingly remembered by his children: Lisa (Dario), Diana (Roger), and Joseph (Kaitlyn); grandchildren: Stjepan, Jacob and Jillian; his sisters Katica and Janica; as well as numerous family and friends.
Ivan was predeceased by his parents Josip and Kata.
He emigrated from present-day Croatia to California in 1973, eventually making his way to Connecticut where he started a family and made a living using his creativity and skill as a glassblower. He took pride in his children and grandchildren. He will be remembered for his unique sense of humor and ability to make everyone around him laugh.
