Ivan J. Hulic, 47, went to be with The Father, Thursday, June 24, 2010, at his residence in Parker City. He was born April 13, 1963, in Bratislava, Slovakia, the son of Jan Hulic and Gabriele Hulicova.
He came to the United States when he was eighteen and lived in Oklahoma prior to moving to this area.
Ivan was the finance manager at Victory Honda and earlier had been the finance manager at Polo-Jeep-Suzuki.
While living in Slovakia he played professional hockey. He was a registered pilot and flight instructor flying out of the Muncie Airport.
Surviving are his wife, Carla (Perry) Hulic; his parents, Jan Hulic and Gabriele Hulicova, of Parker City; his sons, Andrew Byrd and Nycklaus Hulic, both of New Castle; his step-children, whom Ivan loved dearly, David A. Warren, II, Indianapolis, and Michele Sparks, West Lafayette; his brother, Igor Hulic, (wife, Viera), Bratislava, Slovakia; and his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Charles and June Perry, Muncie.
He was preceded in death by his son Casey Hulic.
