Iva Gertrude “Trudy” Adams McCaig

passed away on January 24, 2014, at the Trinity Medical Center in Birmingham, AL at the age of 90. She is preceded in death by her husband, Felton Melvin McCaig after 53 years of marriage. She is also predeceased by her father, Luther Henry Adams and her mother, Bessie Campbell Adams. Mrs. McCaig is survived by nieces and nephews only: Shelia Adams Shaddix of Birmingham, AL, Jerry Adams of Reston Virginia, Bonnie Adams Tunnell of Vestavia, AL, Nina Adams of Houston, Texas, Reba Adams of Greenville, SC, Janet Adams of Altoona, AL, Theron Adams of Lincoln, AL, Gaylon Adams of Arab, AL, Terry Adams of Cullman, AL, Claudette Munford Schaub of Tampa, Florida, Delores Munford, Barbara Munford Utterbeck, Carolyn Munford, Martha Lake, Shelly Adams, and a host of great nieces and nephews. The family would like to give a special thanks to “Tish” Knight (next door neighbor) for years of friendship and help to Trudy.
