Chief Warrant Officer (CW4-ret.) Israel “Chief” Soto-Arocho, age 65 of Huntsville, died Monday at home. He was a Beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. Chief was an accomplished professional that had a long and distinguished career in the U.S. Army and with the department of defense as a civilian even after his 33 years in the military. Always the dedicated soldier Chief, as he was affectionately known to his friends, was a true confident who would support and be there for you no matter what. Chief’s very measurable professional accomplishments can only be overshadowed by his personal relationships with his family and friends, in which he had the uncanny ability to be a mentor hero and leader while still making you feel welcomed, loved and excepted. Our loved one will truly be missed beyond what words can describe and our love for him is and always will be immense and true. He was everything to many people and for that alone he will live on in all of us forever. We love you!
