Mr. Buggs peacefully passed away at a local hospital. A retiree of American Airlines, he is the husband of Delores Buggs.

Isiah “Ike” Buggs was born May 24, 1937 in Haynesville, Louisiana. Isiah was the seventh of ten children born to the union of the late Willie Buggs Sr. and Annie Martin Buggs.
Isiah moved to San Diego and was later employed at American Airlines, where he retired after thirty-five years of commitment and dedication.
In 1967, Isiah met his beloved soul mate and lifelong friend, Delores Buggs. years later in 1980, they were united in holy matrimony.
Isiah was a humble kind man, and was known for putting other’s needs before his own; he loved his family and expected nothing less from his loved ones. He had many many stories and memories that will last a lifetime. Isiah’s favorite pastime was watching sports with his grandsons, Poobie and Thomas. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by three brothers, Leonard, Detroit and Maso; four sisters, Mildred, Vera, Lois, and Charlene. His brother, Jessie passed away three days after Isiah on Monday, July 8, 2013.
On Friday, July, 5, 2013, Isiah Buggs departed this earthly life to be with the Lord. He leaves to cherish his memories his beautiful wife of thirty-three years, Delores J. Buggs of San Diego; brother, Willie Buggs Jr. (Halois) of Dallas, Texas; sisters-in-law, Mary Buggs, Ethel Mae Buggs, Lizzie Buggs, Gwen Murphy (Michael), Rachel Patton, and Grace Ann Patton all of San Diego; three brothers-in-law, Terry Patton, Arnold Patton, and Ray Walker all of San Diego; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and many friends.
