Isadore Goldberg, 97, of Holiday City Berkeley section of Berkeley Twp. died Sunday, August 28th, 2011 at his home. Born in Atlanta, Georgia, Isadore lived most of his life in Jersey City, NJ, moving to Holiday City in 1981. Isadore served in the US Army during WWII from 1941-1945.
He was in the security department for Vornado, Kearny, NJ, retiring in 1979. Isadore was a member of the Jewish Social Club and the Jewish War Veterans Club. He is preceded in death by his wife Edna (Heir) Goldberg in 1995. He is survived by his son Martin Goldberg and his wife Carol of Edison, NJ and one daughter Sheila Weinstock and her husband Harvey of Highlands, NJ. He is also survived by three grandchildren David Weinstock, Brandon and Lauren Goldberg.
