Isabelle P. Murdock Moore, 89, Anderson, died March 12, 2012 at Manor Care, Anderson after an extended illness. She was born February 11, 1923 in Kansas City, Kansas, and resided in Anderson, Indiana since 2005. She had previously lived in Fairmount, Indiana for 51 years.
Isabelle had been a homemaker and foster parent, and had been like a second mother to many nieces and nephews. She also worked with a prison ministry at Pendleton, as well as with the Civil Defense in Fairmount.
She is survived by her daughter Cathy Norman Harry; One brother Charles R. Murdock Martha; Niece & nephew, Nancy and Cliff Arellano; 3 grandchildren; Alexandra Brooke Norman, Dawn Lynn Petry and Matthew Grossenbacher. She is survived by several special nieces and nephews, as well as special friend Kathy Sutton.
The family would like to thank Manor Care Nursing Home for the special care they gave to Aunt Belle. Isabelle was preceded in death by her parents Duncan and Agnes George Murdock; 2 brothers; Duncan Murdock and James Murdock; 3 sisters; Catherine Hudson, Agnes Cook and Barbara Hubner.
