Isabelle L. Phillips, age 90, a resident of Pensacola, FL, went to meet her Lord and Savior on Saturday, September 23, 2017. Isabelle was born in Danville, PA on September 8, 1927 to Charles and Mae Litterer. She married Aubrey Phillips of Sugar Creek, MO in January 1947 while he was in the Navy and stationed at the Pensacola Naval Air Station. They lived mostly in the state of Missouri, moving between Clinton and the Kansas City area as her husband’s job with KCP&L demanded.
Upon Aubrey’s retirement in 1990, they moved back to Pensacola where they had fallen in love. Isabelle and Aubrey made various missionary trips together before Aubrey passed away in 1995. Isabelle continued as a missionary in Africa until she retired, when she decided to take up residence at Azalea Trace in Pensacola Florida.
Isabelle was preceded in death by both her parents, her husband Aubrey, and youngest son Daniel Phillips as well as her sister June Green of CA.
She is survived by her daughter Dr. Loretta Ollison, son Charles L. Phillips, grandsons Raymond “Robbie” Ollison, Erich and Travis Phillips, granddaughters Sherrie Kennedy and Tina McGinnis, as well as her twelve great- grandchildren, two half-sisters, two half-brothers and many nieces and nephews.
She was loved and revered by both family and friends and will be deeply missed by all who were fortunate to have shared a part of her life.
