Isabelle Catherine “Cathy” May, 80 of Thornton passed away at her residence on Sunday, January 6, 2019. She was born in September 7, 1938 in Thornton, daughter of the late Otis Edward and Merle Lorenabell Helms Leggett. She is survived by her husband James May whom she married on February 14, 2011.
Cathy was a member of the Grafton 7th Day Adventist Church.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by son, Thomas Alan Mitter and wife Heidi, Cleveland, Ohio; two granddaughters, Sabrina Perritt and husband Michael, Angela Juhasz and husband Blaze; three great grandchildren, Kaden, Keegen and Avery; two brothers, Floyd Leggett, and Edward Leggett both of Thornton
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Shirley Hose and Mary Gaydos; three brothers, Ronald Leggett, Charles Leggett and David Leggett.
