Isabel Maria Sanchez Brigham
Our beloved mother, grandma, great-grandma, sister, aunt and friend passed away on November 24, 2016. She was born on November 5, 1924 to Fernando and Juana Santaliz Sanchez in Guaynabo, Puerto Rico.
She left Puerto Rico and moved to Utah for work.
Shortly after arriving in Utah she met and married the love of her life Robert G. Brigham on December 4, 1947. She was a devoted member of New Zion Baptist Church where she enjoyed serving as Deaconess, Usher and Treasurer. She was a devout Catholic for many years before converting to Baptist. Serving the Lord and making sure her grandchildren knew Jesus was very important to her. If you stayed at her house on Saturday night, you could plan on going to church on Sunday morning.
