Irvin “Bud” Stoner, of Greenwood, IN, passed away on the morning of Monday, March 11, 2019 in Indianapolis. He was 94. Bud was born July 30, 1924 in Charlestown, IN a son of the late Lee Lindel and Ida Mae Stoner.
Bud proudly served his country in the United States Navy during World War II and was employed several years with Ford Motor Company retiring as a general foreman. He was a member of Prospect Lodge No. 714 F&AM in Indianapolis as well the Indianapolis Valley of the Scottish Rite.
Bud is survived by his children, Cindy (Jeffrey) Dawson and Joseph Steven Stoner; his brother, Kenneth Ray Stoner; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren as well as his caregiver, Angel Thompson.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in passing by his wife, Lucille Stoner and his sisters, Helen Irene Gearing and Agnes May Stoner.
