Irma N. Nicholson Saxon, 80, Markleville, passed away May 31, 2012 at Miller’s Merry Manor, Middletown. She was born July 11, 1931 in Anderson, Indiana, and resided in this area all of her life. Irma was a homemaker and retired in 1978 from General Motors after more than 25 years of service.
She was a member of St. Ambrose Catholic Church, St. Vincent DePaul Society and had been active with several senior bowling leagues.
She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Richard L. Saxon; daughters, Lisa S. Cleveland of Middletown and Anita Frank Lacy of Middletown; grandchildren, Erin Hawkins, Richard Lacy, and James Lacy; great grandchildren, Gabriel Hawkins and Addison Davidson; and three nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry E. & Mary M. Boop Nicholson; and two sisters, Mary Lou Hughes and Lela Holtsclaw.
