Iris Miller, 77, of Stevensville, Michigan and Naples, Florida, died Tuesday, June 9, 2009 at home surrounded by her loving family.Iris was born May 19, 1932 in Lakeside, the daughter of Neal and Viola (Brown) Payne. She attended Three Oaks High School and graduated with the class of 1950.
On July 8, 1950 she married James D. Miller at St. Mary of the Assumption in Three Oaks. Iris worked for many years at Schraders Super Market before retiring. Iris enjoyed spending time with her family at the many family gatherings and especially being with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Iris is survived by her husband James; daughter Patricia (John) Behnke of Stevensville; grandchildren, Stephen (Laura) Behnke, Susan (Aaron) Toothman, Sarah (Brian) Kalczynski; great grandchildren Patrick Behnke, Katy Behnke, Alex Toothman; and sisters Jackie (Gene) Miller of Sister Lakes and Patty Hall of Bridgman.
She will also be missed by her sister and brother in laws, Katherine Gill, John Miller, Charles Miller, Gene Miller and her many nieces and nephews.
