Iris Vanderpol, 88, passed away on June 12, 2014 at her home with her family by her side. She was preceded in death by her parents, Leonard and Madeline Bristow; her husband, Dwight; her sister, Elsie and her brother, Terry. She is survived by her children, son, Gary (Glenda) Vanderpol of Ottumwa, daughters, Linda (Bruce) Bardwell of Treynor and Joyce Eckley of Chariton; her sister, Joan Brodsky of Washington State; 15 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Iris retired from the National Bank and Trust after working 35 years.
