Iris K. Rutledge, 75, formerly of Lafayette and Muncie, passed away on Monday, March 14, 2022, at Milner Community Health Care. She was born September 7, 1946, in Lafayette to the late Charles and Helena “Helen” (Niccum) Felix.
Iris graduated from East Tipp High School and Lafayette Business College. On April 3, 1965, she married Herbert Rutledge in Lafayette and he preceded her in death.
Iris was a bus driver with Lafayette City Bus for several years. She enjoyed reading and Wii-Bowling.
Surviving are her daughters Tira E. (Mark) Smith of Cutler, Jennifer Matthews, grandchildren Alexandra Clayton, Jalynn Cooper, Kelsey Matthews and Haley Carter. Also surviving is her brother Larry Felix of Stockwell.
