Irene is survived by her loving husband, Larry Simpson; sisters, Carolyn Peckinpaugh and Katie Woods; children, Lisa (Jeff) Malston, Sheri Simpson, and Kim (Chuck) Short; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; brother-in-law, Chuck Spaulding; sister-in-law, Aloma Colbert; guard dog, Logan. She was preceded in death by her son, Rick Huffman; parents, 5 brothers and 2 sisters.
