Helen Irene Proulx (Maier), passed away peacefully at age 86, on August 26, 2011. Irene was a Godly woman, who easily earned the distinction from her Creator as a “good and faithful servant”. She was married to Vital George Proulx for 41 years before he preceded her in death 25 years ago. She was a good wife, and loving mother of seven children-all of whom are married, with children of their own numbering 20 grandchildren plus 12 great-grandchildren. She is survived by all seven of her children and their spouses, as well as all the grand and great-grandchildren. The seven children and their spouses, Duane & Mary Proulx, Mike & Germaine Proulx, Janice & Tom Pidcock, Mary L. & Rich Ruggiero, Rick & Cheryl Proulx, Tom & Stacy Proulx and Theresa & Shane Farmer. She is also survived by two sisters; Mary Lehman, who resides in Minnesota, and Shirley Johnson residing in Wisconsin.
