Irene “Renny” Jeannette Crowder Smith, 68, of Taneytown, died Monday evening, Oct. 17, 2022.
Born July 13, 1954, she was the daughter of Harold Truman and Ermalyn Vera Price Crowder.
With a strong love of traveling, Renny was a travel agent for many years in Glyndon, where she raised her family. After retiring, she continued to enjoy traveling and spending time with her grandchildren. She was also an avid fan of the Baltimore Ravens.
Surviving her are sons Justin, of Dunedin, Fl., Jared, of Manheim, Pa., and Mark Smith, of Parkville; grandchildren Olivia, Adeline, Leonard, Madeline and Lilly; sister Ruth Crowder Maisel, of Mareeba, Queensland, Australia; nephew Benjamin Crowder, of Winfield; niece Caitlin Maisel Serravalle and nephew Christopher Maisel of Mareeba, Queensland, Australia.
She was predeceased by son Jason Michael Smith; brother Gary Harold Crowder; and sister Jean Vera Crowder.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, October 23, 2022 from 4 to 6 p.m.
