Irene Isabell Darbin left us to be with the lord on November 29, 2022. Irene was born April 6, 1921, in Lamar, Nebraska to William and Bertha Stumbaugh. Her family later moved to Imperial, Nebraska where she attended school. Her father passed away in 1926. Her mother Bertha later married Lester Kimball in April of 1930. Irene met Charles Darbin, they fell in love and were married on December 27, 1941, in Imperial, Nebraska. They had three children Ron, Junior and Joyce. Irene and Charles moved to Idaho where they called home. They bought their farm on Dorman Ave in Caldwell in the 60’s. They spent many years at the farm with their children and grandchildren. She lost Charles in 1978. She maintained the family farm with the help of her family and then later moved to her home in the Florida Estates community.
Irene was proceeded in death by her father William, mother Bertha, stepfather Lester Kimball, husband Charles, son Ron, daughter Joyce, bothers
Melvin, Bob and Bill, grandson Ronnie Ray and great grandson Teal Rotchy. She was survived by her daughter in law Sue Darbin of Boise, son Junior (Connie) Darbin of New Mexico, Deanna Morrison of Greenleaf, grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
