Mrs. Hull died Tuesday, December 30, 2014 at the Nebraska Methodist Hospital, Omaha.

Irene Mildred (Johnson) Hull was born October 20, 1922 in Humphrey, NE to John and Emma Johnson and was baptized December 30, 1922 at Green Garden Precinct, Madison Co. Nebraska. She was confirmed November 27, 1938 at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Stark Valley in Pierce County.

She attended grade school in District 35 and Consolidated School at Plainview, NE. Irene moved with her parents to Norfolk in 1944. Irene worked for Dr. C. J. Verges and the Lutheran Hospital and attended Red Cross Nurses training at that time. She later worked for the Omaha Nurses Registry for a number of years. In 1955 she moved to Denver, CO. She continued her education in Denver and graduated from the Physical Therapy School in 1960.

Irene decided moved to a drier, warmer climate and went to Whittier, CA and then to Sacramento where she met Myron Hull, a Marketing Engineer and they were married in 1968. Their first home was at 7025 Glass Slipper Way in Citrus Heights, CA. She was employed at the Taylor Athletic Club in Sacramento.

In 1969 they bought property in Yucca Valley, CA and built two homes there and lived there for 25 years.

Irene moved back to Norfolk in 1997 and was living at 2616 Westport Apartments. She is a Member of Our Savior Lutheran Church.

She is survived by a Niece Georgia Sage & Family, three Nephews Garnold (Jerry) Linstadt and wife Cathy & Family, Glenn Linstadt and wife Stephanie & Family, all of Omaha, Melvin (Mel) Linstadt near Springfield, South Dakota, Stepdaughter, Corinne and husband Elliot Miller: Stepson, Ronald (Ron) Hull and several Step Grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Myron Hull, her parents: Sister Ella Linstadt, two Brothers, Fred and George Johnson, brother-in-law, Harold Linstadt and her niece’s husband, James Sage.
