Irene Hannah Stokell Norman, 89, passed away September 21, 2021 in Ogden, Utah. She was born June 2, 1932 in Eltham, Kent, England the daughter of Charles Edgar Stokell and Violet Florence Cawdery Stokell.
Irene married Deward Norman in November of 1950 in Great Falls, Montana. They were married 67 years before his passing in 2017.
She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in many callings including Relief Society President.
Irene loved dogs, horses, reading, knitting, shopping and collecting purses.
She was preceded in death by her husband; brothers Edgar, Leslie, and David; sisters Violet and Vera Rosina; her son David Deward Norman; granddaughter Holley Rae Thomas, grandson Nathaniel David Gerloff and great-grandchildren Zachary and Eliza Zaugg.
Irene is survived by her children Tanya Baker, Clarinda (Mark) Erickson, Candice Gerloff, and Jeffrey Rulon (Sheri) Norman; 20 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.
