Irene Frances West, 79, of Meriden, departed this life on Thursday, June 9, 2011 at the MidState Medical Center in Meriden.
Irene was born on June 20, 1931, in Halifax County, VA. She was a daughter of the late Matthew Trayham and Sterling Coleman-West.
She will be sadly missed by her daughters: Diane West Bentley of North Haven and Rev. Joanne Beaucejour and her husband Pastor Jean-Lubin of Meriden; grandchildren: Yolanda Jones, Sidena Palmas, Brandon Bentley, Kenneth Hoff, Micheleine Beaucejour; five great grandchildren; a brother, Lindsey West; and a sister Alice Jones; and a host of nieces, nephews and relatives. She is preceded in death by her sisters: Ruby, her twin, Rosa, Mary, Lizzie, Verla; brothers: Charlie and Kermit.
