Irene Cherpak, 83, of Berlin passed away on Saturday, June 15, 2013. She resided in Berlin for the past 35 years and was a member of Holy Trinity Orthodox Church in New Britain. Irene worked for North and Judd, where she retired after 34 years. She leaves her brother Peter Cherpak of Enfield; her sister, Martha Cherpak of Berlin, Dorothy Prestia of Southington and Katherine Torelli of New Britain. She was pre-deceased by her brothers; John, Stephen, Nick, George and Michael; and her sisters, Helen Maxwell and Ann Melnyk.
