Ira N. “Bud” Tapp, 89, of Indianapolis passed away peacefully on the afternoon of July 5, 2018. Bud was born January 1, 1929 in Indianapolis to William N. and Mary Bessie (Schwartz) Tapp.
Bud attended local schools and for over 50 years was a plumber and had worked out of the Plumbers and Steamfitters Union Local 440. He enjoyed woodworking, gardening and fishing.
He is preceded in death by his wife of 65 years, Shirley; his parents; 11 sisters and a grandson, Jeremy.
Bud is survived by his three sons, Bruce (Charlene), Gary (Mark) and Terry (John); his grandchildren, Bruce Jr., Jason and Laurie; four great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was truly loved by his family and will be greatly missed.
