Ira Jean Carver, age 89, of Douglas, Georgia passed away on Friday, May 29, 2020 at her residence. Mrs. Carver was born on September 29, 1930 in Coffee County, Georgia the daughter of the late Ira H. Phillips and Mary Annie Ferguson Phillips.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Jim Phillips and Bob Phillips.

Survivors include her husband, Harry P. Carver of Douglas, GA; three sons, Terry Carver of Douglas, GA, Wayne Carver (Debbie) of Martinez, GA and Charles Carver (Diane) of Idaho Falls, Idaho; daughter, DanNette Trowell (Joey) of Broxton, GA; eight grandchildren, Lacey Yawn (Jason), Amy Bohannon (Josh), Lindsey Carver, Jessi Carver, Michael Carver, James Carver, Josh Jordan and Jeb Jordan; six great grandchildren, Madison Yawn, Zachary Yawn, Aubree Yawn, Kynlee Bohannon, Rylee Belle Bohannon and Jack Jordan.

Two loving specials friends/caretakers; Rhonda McCall and Patty Clack and a  very loving pet dog (Dundee).

Musical selections will be “I Can’t Even Walk” and “In the Garden” sung by Phillip Jowers and a congregational song, “I’ll Fly Away”.
