Mr. Ira Fish, 92, died June 14, 2007, at Lea Regional Medical Center. He was born Aug. 18, 1914, in Lindsay, Okla. He marshy;ried Jewell Mae Jenkins on Dec. 23, 1935, in Hammon, Okla .

Ira worked on a farm while living in Lindsay, Okla. He was proud of his heritage. In 1948, he moved to Hobbs and worked as a mechanic for the city until his retirement. Ira enjoyed the outdoors: camping, deer huntshy;ing and fishing. Most of all, he enjoyed working. Next to his God, Ira loved his family He was a very faithful, devoted member of Trinity Free Holiness Church.

Survivors include a son, Glenn D. Fish and wife Linda of Yukon, Okla.; two daughshy;ters, lrlerie Griffin and husshy;band Mark of Sapulpa, Okla., and Colleen Powell and husshy;band Glenn of Lovington; a brother, Raymond Fish of Oklahoma City, Okla.; two sisshy;ters, Dorothy of California and Ruth of Oklahoma; eight grandchildren; 19 great-grandshy;children; and 15 great-greatshy;grandchildren.

Ira was preceded in death by his wife, two granddaughters, a son-in-law and several brothshy;ers and sisters.
