Ippocratis Tsoumbanas, age 71, of Plymouth, died Tuesday, July 6th, at the Seasons Hospice in Milton. He was the loving father of George, Louis and Heidi Tsoumbanas. Brother of Dimitris, Fotis, and Despina. Ippocratis was the uncle of Nicholas Tsoubanas, Georgia Tsoubanas, Eftychis Tsoubanas, and Nicholas Theodorou. He is also survived by his ex-wife Effie Tsoumbanas. Ippocratis was born in Samos Greece, son of the late George and Elefteria (Petrou) Tsoumbanas. He moved to the United States in 1976 where he made a new life. He was a member of the Panagia Parish in Cohasset.Following 7 months of fighting with a brain tumor, he finally came to rest in his favorite place near the ocean. Plymouth.
