Innik J.C. Hancock, age 87 of Midland died Tuesday, April 26, 2016 at Stratford Village. The son of the late William and Ida (Herren) Hancock was born on April 4, 1929 in Tennessee. J.C. served with the Army during the Korean War and retired from Aetna Cement as an operator. He is predeceased by his wife Genny, whom he married in 1984.
J.C. is survived by his stepchildren Rodney (Debbie) Neal of Bay City, Peggy (David) Vargo of Florida, Jenny (Larry) McLean of Bay City and many step-grand and great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his sisters Janet Smith and Maynell Thurston. Brothers predeceased J.C. Cleo, Leo, C O, William and sisters Nelda Miller, Vernell Gutchak, and Dorothy Hancock. Scott Klein and Kim Starnes will greatly miss him.
