Ingrid R. Bowers, 76, of Salisbury, went to be with her lord on Tuesday,July 17, 2012, at Rowan Regional Medical Center.
Ingrid was born Wednesday, April 15, 1936, a daughter of the late Anna Klara Frieda and Karl Otto in Germany and later came to reside in the United States in 1954. She was employed at the Old Holiday Inn and Quincy Restaurant for many years.
Preceding her in death was her husband Benjamin R. Rowes and brother Otto Maschler.
Those left to cherish her memories are brother Heinz Maschler, and sister Irene Merkle Machler, both of Germany; and her loving and loyal friend Dorothy Gepp of Salisbury.
The family thanks Ingrid’s loving neighbors, Susan & Steve McCleary and family, along with Mr. & Mrs. Smith, and Lois Bradshaw, Mr. & Mrs. Fuchs, for all their years of support for Ingrid. Dorothy J. Gepp, Ingrids lifelong friend and co- worker, also wishes to thank everyone for the help and assistance to provide the much needed care and support that Ingrid required in her last days.
