Inez (Bonucchi) Schumacher, 86, of rural Spring Valley, passed away at 2:00 PM Wednesday, August 18, 2010 at St. Margarets Hospital in Spring Valley. Mrs. Schumacher was born on September 30, 1923 in Standard to August and Hilda (Castagnoli) Bonucchi. She married William A. Schumacher on August 27, 1945 in Ottawa. She was a secretary for the American Nickeloid Co. and also worked at the American Red Cross.
She was a member of St. Johns Lutheran Church in Peru. She is survived by her husband, William of rural Spring Valley; one son, Randy (Sue) Schumacher of rural Spring Valley; two granddaughters and two great-granddaughters; one sister, Irene (Glenn) Shaver of Triumph. She was preceded in death by one son, Rex Schumacher and one brother in infany.
