INEZ OGLESBY BANKS was born November 19, 1936, in Turrell, Arkansas, to Sherman, Sr. and Johnella Oglesby. The family migrated to Chicago, Illinois, in 1943.
Inez met her future husband, Louis Hoover Banks, Sr.
Inez received her formal education in and around the Chicago area: John M.
Inez’ husband and son both preceded her in death along with her parents and 7 siblings.
On Sunday, July 17, 2022, Inez departed this life and leaves to cherish her memory the following loving family: An affectionate and loving Daughter Jovita Banks-Robinson (James); caring Daughter-in-Law Jacqueline; four devoted Grandsons: Jeremy (Rejeannda), Jordan, Darius, and Deandre; two charming Great-grandchildren: Darius Jr. and Eziyah Blessin, a warmhearted brother Robert Earl (Geraldine) and a host of special nieces, nephews, cousins and kind friends.
