She lived in this area since 1934. She retired in 1969 from Guide Lamp Division of General Motors after 33 years of service. She was a 50 year member of New Horizons United Methodist Church in Anderson. She was a 50 year member of the O.E.S. Chapter #154 and did a lot of volunteer work.
