Imogene Lovely, 86, of Rensselaer, IN, passed away Monday, September 14, 2020 at her residence.
She was born on March 10, 1934 in Hindman, KY to Lewis and Ida (Gibson) Owsley. In 1951, Imogene married Gobel Oliver, who preceded her in death in 1970. Imogene then married Felix Lovely in May of 1975, he passed away in 2003. For twenty years, she served as an assembler for Eaton Manufacturing in Winamac, IN. Imogene was a member of the Parr Baptist Church.
She is survived by her children, Kenneth (Iona) Oliver of Rensselaer, IN, Timothy Oliver of Wheatfield, IN, Anthony (Lynn) Oliver of Monrovia, IN; her step-children, Linda (Donald) Scheffer of Medaryville, IN, Michael (Debra) Lovely of Rensselaer, IN, Toni Fox of Crane, MO, Craig Lovely of Springfield, MO; five grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
Imogene is also survived by her siblings, Josephine Britt Gettys Owsley, Dan Owsley, James Owsley, Bruce Owsley, Christine Murray, Margaret Overton and Ronald Owsley.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Gobel, and second husband, Felix; son, Stevie Oliver; siblings, Donald Owsley, and Devon Owsley.
