Imogene “Imy” Isbell age 80 of Batavia passed away Friday, January 15, 2021 at her residence surrounded by her family.
She was born August 1, 1940 in Carbondale, IL. the daughter of Eugene and Lavonne (Barnard) Graves.
Imy worked many years as the Craft Director at the Holmstad in Batavia. The residents adored Imy, as she always greeted them with a warm smile and joyful spirit.
She is survived by husband of 60 years Richard “Dick” Isbell; children Vicki (Alan) Mathis of Wisconsin, Pam (Mike) Brandenburg of Arizona, Tracy Levin of Batavia and Geoff of Batavia; grandchildren Jason (Amanda), Michael, Nathan (Steve) Mathis, Christopher (Fiancee Lauren) and Erik (Lauren) Brandenburg, Sara (Matt) Nelson, Hannah (Fiancee Alex), Andrew (Amanda), Michelle and Maddy Isbell;also survived by 16 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister Patsy Hinterlong and her grandson Alexander Levin.
Due to the current health care restrictions, standards of occupancy will be upheld.
