Imogene Kimsey (84) surrendered this earthly life to be in the arms of her beloved
Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on April 6, 2015 in Tucson, Az. She was born
July 27, 1930 in Sheridan, Oregon to parents Robert & Grace Steward. After High School
she attended Nursing School until she met and married the Love of her life, Percy Kimsey Jr.
on November 10, 1950. They enjoyed over 53 years together until he predeceased her on May 5, 2004 in Sierra Vista, Az.
Imogene spent her life being a dedicated Military Wife, Homemaker and loving Mother,
raising two sons who survive her; Frank Kimsey (Carole) of Sierra Vista, Az and
Edward Kimsey (Michelle) of Vail, Az. She is also survived by her Brother, Douglas Steward of Oregon.
She will be missed deeply by those who loved her.
Percy and Imogene transferred to Ft. Huachuca in the early Sixties and made their home in
Sierra Vista after his retirement from the Military. Imogene loved to help others and spent her
time volunteering at her favorite places; Habitat for Humanity and First Christian
brighten your day..
