Imogene (Gean) Burks Clark Phillips
Gean went to be with our Lord on Monday May 8th, 2017.
She was a loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend.
Gean was born April 7, 1931 to Leonard C. and Margaret Burks of Sherman, TX.
She married WC (Dub) Clark Jr. in 1948 in Sherman, TX. Dub and Gean were proud parents of three children; Mark Clark (Donna) of Mineola, TX; Karen Clark Mitchell (Ralph) of Colorado Springs, CO and Greg Clark of Burkburnett, TX. Gean leaves behind grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.
The family moved from Sherman to Burkburnett, TX in 1971. Gean enjoyed employment as a financial professional with a Wichita Falls trust firm where she found her passion and aptitude for financial investments.
Dub passed in Oct. 1978. Gean later married Bobby W. Phillips of Burkburnett, TX in April 1990. Together, along with their beloved dogs Sugar Bear and Molly, they traveled throughout the United States enjoying work and recreation during their senior years. Gean also enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, working in her garden, and dancing the night away.
Gean was preceded in death by her husband, WC Clark Jr.; son, Greg Clark; husband, Bobby Phillips; sister, Mary Crow; and brother, Perry Burks.
She will be dearly missed.
