Imelda McCoy Draghici, age 53, of Huntsville passed away July 22, 2011 after a courageous battle with cancer.
Imelda was one of eight children born to Buddy and Eva McCoy. She was a caring and devoted mother, wife, sister, daughter, grandmother, and friend. Imelda enjoyed drawing, painting, photography, and working as a hospice aide. She is preceded in death by her parents, Buddy and Eva McCoy and sister Joan Cox Anderson.
Imelda is survived by her husband, Cristian Draghici; daughters and spouses, Deirdre and Jonathan Patten and Sarah McCoy; brothers and spouses, Patrick and Claudia McCoy, Michael and Nancy McCoy; sisters and spouses, Jan and Pete Beier, Genevieve and Robert Williams, twin sister Teresa McCoy Jahn, DeLourdes and David Booker; grandchildren, Ethan and Kylie Patten, and MaryJane Moore; Also survived by 12 nieces, 3 nephews, and a host of great nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, and cousins.
