Cumberland — Ilsok Koh DAOMD 81, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 10, 2021 in Hope Health in Providence, with his family by his side, from a long battle with Pulmonary Fibrosis. He was the 19 year companion to Jungwon (Lee) MacMulen of Cumberland, RI.
Born in South Korea, son of the late Jaero and Hahjung (Park) Koh.
He was a very caring man who loved to help his patients. He also liked to spend time with family and friends.
He was President of the Korean Association of RI.
Dr. Ilsok Koh was a licensed Doctor of Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine and Chinese Herbology. He obtained his MPH from Seoul National University,
A Masters in Business Administration from Bryant University, and a Masters in Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine from New England School of Acupuncture and a PHD in Public Health in California. Dr. Koh had an office in Cumberland where he practiced for 22 years.
Besides his Companion Jungwon (Lee) “Eleanor” MacMulen, he is also survived by his two children, Edward Koh and his wife Jamie of Seattle, Washington and Kelly Koh and her husband Andrew Otto of San Francisco. One granddaughter, Mackenzie Koh .
